Johannes Renninger and his wife Anna Catharina Kolb including the Zeigler/Zigler, Reich and Mull Families in Centre, Snyder, and Union County, PA. Johannes is the son of Wendel and Margaretha (Mei) Renniger. Wendel emigrated from Graben, Karlsruhe, Germany on the ship Edinburgh landing in Philadelphia on 13 August 1750 and settled in what is now Berks County, PA. He served during the Revolutionary War, making it possible for descendants to join the DAR.
The book includes extensive family histories, photographs, and legal documents. It also includes tax assessments from the eighteenth century, census records from 1790 to 1930, agricultural census from 1850 through 1880 includes developed and nondeveloped acres of land, all of their horses, cows, etc., the products they grew, the acres of fruit trees grown, the pounds of butter churned and many such interesting items of interest. Mrs. Reniger has written six other books about the Renninger families. Complete index.
