This book includes naturalizations found in the old Common Pleas journals amidst all the other cases. This group of records is quite hard to locate in the courthouse books thus they are not regularly used. Many are in frail condition. Naturalizations in the Probate Office also included as well as a few entries from a microfilmed book. Earlier naturalizations do not give port or arrival, etc., but later records give more details.
