This is the first of a series of books that include a transcription of all of the death records housed at the Bellaire Health Department in Bellaire, Belmont County, Ohio through the 1970s. This volume contains over 8,000 death records covering the period 1904-1935. These records are a primary source from the area around Bellaire, however, they can extend as far south as Powhatan and as far west as the Key-Jacobsburg area. Each record may include first, middle, last and maiden name, death date, burial place, birth or age and father’s name. Not all records have complete information. Alphabetically listed.
