Long out of print, this book is almost 300 pages including the index, laminated soft bound with a delightful cover utilizing photos when the cemetery was being recorded in the early 1980”s. Carl Shumaker compiled the records, with his wife Edith reading the gravestones in each cemetery -- all 15,000 or so stones! There are maps leading the researcher to the grave markers which are numbered. Later on, Carl developed a Volume Three Cemetery book which is used with much ease to locate your families. However, Volume One has something special; the readings are by rows and include the family burial plots.
