Almost certainly there are many burials not recorded in this volume - tombstones that are illegible or no longer exist, family plots that have not been found, omissions in reading the cemetery, etc. Mr. Hadley has included valuable additional information on Matamoras Cemetery burials that he has gleaned from veterans records at the Washington County Courthouse and from funeral home records.
