Named for Greene County, Pennsylvania, which was the origin of many of its early settlers, Green Township was home to many of the early families of Monroe County. Now you can have access to information about many of these families. All known cemeteries in Green Township have been copied and published in this book. Additional information includes early Laings Presbyterian Church records, an account of the only man executed in Monroe County, Bible records and more.
