The marriage abstracts are arranged alphabetically by the surname of the groom, then the maiden name of the bride and date of marriage. Next follows the person that performed the ceremony, return date of the license, date the license was obtained and the applicant of the license if other than the groom. Other information includes age of the bride and/or groom, residence, if parent’s consent was given, and other details. An alphabetical listing of ministers and JP’s compiled from the records add additional research help.
