War of 1812-14 and Mexican War Compilers: Retrospect Publishing
The primary focus of this four volume set is the Pennsylvania volunteers and drafted men who served during the War of 1812. Within these four volumes you will find muster rolls, payroll list, pension lists and other documentation for the Pennsylvania soldiers who served during the War of 1812. Extensive lists are provided for the 1st through 16th Divisions along with other miscellaneous rolls. These records were meticulously recorded from original documents and typically include the soldier’s name, rank, date and place of entering into the service.

The pension list includes close to 5,000 pension applicants which include the applicant’s name, rank, company commander, town and county of residence. If the applicant was a widow, the widow’s husband is listed. Also included are accountings of disbursement made to non-military personnel including women for providing supplies and/or services to the troops during the War of 1812. Beyond those who served in the War of 1812, this set also includes a list of 2,100 Pennsylvania soldiers who served during the Mexican War.
